A large-scale sculpture of a cowrie shell, made from a piece of larch wood from Östervåla. The shell is often a souvenir, a memory of exotic journeys and adventures. Cowrie shells have also been used as currency in certain cultures. Whether used as capital or a souvenir, the shell becomes an object on the move.
