SWIPE TAP SLEEP REPEAT explores contemporary society’s greatest narcissism. The project reflects and transforms the everyday routines that are born from social media into an alternative world. A world characterised by the possibility to show or to be shown, where the ‘bad’ and the ‘ugly’ is blurred and smeared out in Photoshop and social media is a platform for self-curated exhibition — the rise of social media narcissism.
Anna Koch and Arika Yamada were invited to explore the staged space that led to a 30 minute performance at artist-run spaceSkogen.
