໐ ||||| (moonlight on water) is an audiovisual performance – a kind of expanded silent film cinema with electroacoustic music and two-channel video. Video footage from Beijing, Kyoto, Kebnekaise, and archival film on 16mm film meet an experimental soundscape in an intertwined narrative, where contrasts in nature, culture, and time merge into a continuum. Through parallel events and simultaneity, the work invites contemplation on flows, information, and presence, and challenges the perspective of being a living being here and now.
