New spaces open up when you lose someone. A disappearance is the beginning of an emergence. Something falls apart and becomes something else. This is a psychogeographic navigation through grief, loss and memory, about mourning the loss of my nai nai (paternal grandmother in mandarin) and the spaces that have opened up during the process. A dichotomy between wholeness and brokenness—from then to now and from there to here.
